Meet Dr. Dale McNiel

Dr. Dale McNiel joined the Hyde Eyecare team in 2017. Dr. McNiel grew up in Jonesville, Virginia. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Virginia Tech in Biology. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1999 at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.

Clinically he has special interests in chronic dry eyes, allergic eyes, and diabetic patients. During his studies in optometry school, Dr. McNiel was involved in SVOSH student volunteer optometric services to humanity and went on several mission trips to serve.

Dr. McNiel enjoys Virginia Tech athletics and riding his mountain bike.
