Dr. Angie Dabbs
Dr. Angie Dabbs joined the Hyde Eyecare Team in 2011. Originally from Bristol, Dr. Dabbs received her undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University in 2002, BS in Chemistry with minor in Biology. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2006 at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
As the only Pediatric Vision specialist in the area, Dr. Dabbs enjoys working with infants and children. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), Optometric Extension Program (OEP) and Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians (TAOP). Dr. Dabbs has been honored the Sam Horner Jr award for pediatric behavioral optometry.
Dr. Dabbs and her husband Jason are members of Manley Baptist Church, where she serves as an Awana Leader and is part of the Women’s Ministry. They have two children, a son, Riley and a daughter, Lilly. In her free time Dr. Dabbs enjoys the outdoors, hiking, running, tennis and music.
